Three-component reaction for the synthesis of imides enabled by electrochemical C(sp<sup>3</sup>)–H functionalization

Abstract
An electrochemical three-component cascade reaction of aryl acids, nitriles, and alkylbenzenes was developed for the synthesis of imides. The products could be applied to synthesize amides, as well as primary or tertiary amines.
