Abstract
Organic Solar Cells In article number 2000539, Tong Wang, Jian-Qiang Liu, and Xiao-Tao Hao summarize recent reports about organic solar cells modified by insulating polymers (i-OSCs). The review discusses the effect of insulators on OSCs from four aspects: 1) optimizing morphology via ternary strategy with insulating polymers, 2) reducing the work function of conductors, 3) three-layer structure of donor/insulator/acceptor and 4) stabilizing the domain size by block copolymers.
