Abstract
In a hospital, the significant problem faced by the nurse or attendant is to ensure the level of saline bottle periodically. Reverse flow of blood would occur when the nurse forgets to change the saline bottle which leads to the patient life at risk. To overcome this problem, an IOT based saline level indicator is proposed. Loadcell is fixed at the top of the stand where the saline bottle is hanged by hook fixed at bottom of loadcell which measures the level of the saline bottle. When the level becomes low sensor gives the output to the controller. With the help of the controller, the indicator is on within the room, and also with the help of IoT and mobile app the nurse can monitor the status of the saline bottle. And also, the main problem faced by the patient is the reverse flow of blood towards the saline bottle when the level of the bottle got emptied. To overcome this problem, the solenoid valve is adjusted when saline level drops down. Additionally, the caretakers can monitor each patient’s body temperature, amount of oxygen in the blood, and pulse rate which helps to monitor the patient’s health more efficiently.
