Abstract
, the Corynebacterium tuberculostearicum species complex, that includes the most prevalent species from the genus in skin microbiomes. After resolving the presence of distinct species within the complex, we applied metagenomic analysis to uncover biogeographic associations of individual species within the complex with specific body sites and discovered that one species, commonly found in the nares of individuals, increases in abundance across multiple body sites during atopic dermatitis flares.
