Dirty higher-order Dirac semimetal: Quantum criticality and bulk-boundary correspondence

Abstract

The authors demonstrate the stability of higher-order Dirac fermions and the corresponding one-dimensional hinge modes against weak disorder. At the brink of metallicity, they also show a possible emergent superuniversality in the entire family of dirty Dirac semimetals.
