Abstract

Algae bloom can impair water quality, marine biodiversity, and human and animal health.Chlorophyll concentration in algae was estimated using RGB-based image analysis.A phone camera was used to capture the image of the cuvette with chlorophyll.Among four extractant solvents, acetone was the most efficient for chlorophyll extraction.Triphasic partitioning was used to extract biomolecules from microalgae rapidly.
