New Measurement Control Software on the Yellow Submarine SANS Instrument at the Budapest Neutron Centre

Abstract
SANSControl instrument control and data acquisition software has been developed and implemented for the Yellow Submarine small-angle neutron scattering diffractometer at the Budapest Neutron Centre. After a brief description of the instrument main characteristics, the design and key features of SANSControl are presented, such as logic of the sequential operation, visualization interface and user-friendly operation modes. The design of the program allows its easy modification and adaptation for other instruments operating or being developed at large-scale neutron and synchrotron facilities.
