Abstract

When the transformer short-circuit occurs, the short-circuit current value in the winding wire can reach more than ten to dozens of times of the rated value. The interaction between the leakage magnetic field generated by the coil and the short-circuit current will produce electromagnetic force. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the short-circuit force in different short-circuit modes. Based on a 200kVA distribution transformer, this paper establishes a finite element model and compares the short-circuit force under three-phase short-circuit and single-phase short-circuit. The results show that the short-circuit forces of the two modes are basically the same.
