Abstract
Topological spin textures like skyrmions and merons have been proposed to explain a topological Hall signal observed in magnetically ordered phases of EuAl${}_{4}$. Here, the authors investigate these phases via many complementary thermodynamic measurements of EuAl${}_{4}$ single crystals and discuss the symmetry implications of the results. The study provides a detailed magnetic phase diagram to guide future investigations, which includes three phase boundaries that were not previously identified.
