Abstract

A novel co-assembly material can emit strong CPL signals ( g lum = +0.076/−0.064) from an achiral AIE-active β-cyanostilbene liquid crystal through intermolecular hydrogen bond interaction and chirality induction after a rapid cooling quench treatment.
