Abstract
UWSN communication takes place with the help of group of sensors and vehicles deployed underwater and networked via acoustic links performing collaborative tasks. It has its own limitations like the path loss, attenuation, underwater sensors are prone to failure due to fouling and corrosion, limited bandwidth and battery power. The communication gets challenging due to energy consumption, average delay, low packet delivery ratio and short network lifetime. Various Internet of Things (IoT) based UWS N routing protocols have been proposed and developed in recent years for the research, coast guard and the navy for our country's protection. To overcome high energy consumption, this research work has proposed a novel self-configured energy efficient protocol to transmit the data efficiently in the given stipulated time. The proposed method is implemented in MATLAB. The simulation result exclaim that the designed protocol has better performance on energy consumption, throughput, and network lifetime than the compared algorithms.
