Abstract
Thin films of photochromic coordination polymers deposited by layer-by-layer technique, based on iron(II) bis-terpyridine-appended dithienylethene blocks, were used to create light-switchable molecular junctions with high rectification ratios. These multilayer films show a modulation of the attenuation factor when exposed to light irradiation.
