Abstract

Reconstruction of catalyst morphology induced by halide ions over of Cu-based catalysts during CO 2 electroreduction is suppressed using K 2 SO 4 as supporting electrolyte. Adsorption of halide ions is an enabling factor to enhance CO 2 electroreduction.
