Abstract
• A significant public health problem, postpartum depression causes adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes. • Emotional freedom techniques (EFT) is a short-term psychotherapy method that has become increasingly popular. • EFT is a combination of acupoint stimulation, cognitive therapy , exposure therapy. • The study introduces a new method for prevention and treatment of mild postpartum depression to the literature.
