Physico-Chemical Characteristics of Water in the Mouth Area of Tributaries of the Rybinsk Reservoir

Abstract
The features of the abiotic characteristics of the selected zones of the mouth areas of tributaries of the Rybinsk Reservoir are described using the example of the Ild River mouth area. The identified zones differ in a number of abiotic characteristics: length, depth, temperature, flow speed, electrical conductivity, content of dissolved oxygen and organic matter, and hydrochemical parameters. In the zone of mixing of river and reservoir waters, a change in the content and composition of dissolved substances occurs and the formation of waters with new hydrochemical characteristics occurs. In the mouth area of the river, the hydrochemical regime characteristic of watercourses transforms into a regime characteristic of the corresponding reach of the reservoir.
