Abstract
class. In addition to magnetite crystals, XQGS-1 cells form intracellular submicrometer calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate granules. This finding supports the view that MTB are also an important microbial group for intracellular calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate biomineralization.
