Design of Smart Shoe for Women Safety with Emergency Alert System

Abstract
As women safety continues to be a significant concern in society, a smart shoe has been developed as a solution to address the issue of women's safety. The smart shoe has been developed to offer women an additional sense of security in potentially dangerous environments. The objective of the work is to propose a solution to the issue of women's safety by developing a smart shoe equipped with an emergency alert system. The shoe is equipped with advanced sensors and communication technologies such as Global Positioning System (GPS), Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM), accelerometer, andan Atmega328 microcontroller. In the event of an emergency, the user can activate the emergency button which will activate the shocking unit and send an alert to a designated emergency contact that includes the location information of the user. The shoe is powered by a lithium-ion battery and has a power supply unit for charging. TheDesign of Smart Shoe for Women Safety is designed to be comfortable, stylish, and easy to use, providing a comprehensive solution for women's safety. It has the potential to positively impact the lives of women and promote their safety and well-being in the current society, ensuring the safety of women has become a significant issue.
