Abstract
A mixture of TCNQ and four equivalents of B(C 6 F 5 ) 3 is strongly oxidizing and readily forms the new weakly-coordinating anions [TCNQ·4 B(C 6 F 5 ) 3 ] − and [TCNQ·4 B(C 6 F 5 ) 3 ] 2− .
