Abstract

Tigecycline is one of the treatment options for serious infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria, and tigecycline resistance has gained extensive attention. The emergence of a transferable tigecycline resistance efflux pump gene cluster, tmexCD-toprJ , severely challenged the efficiency of tigecycline.
