Abstract

In the actual working process of the electronic connector, due to the influence of temperature changes and vibration and other factors, the electrical contact area will produce fretting wear behavior, resulting in the increase of contact resistance and finally the failure of the electronic connector, thus ensuring the normal operation of the electronic connector is of great significance to ensure the operational stability and reliability of the electronic system. In this work, the research progress of fretting wear related to electrical contact systems (ECS) in recent years is reviewed from five aspects, i.e. experimental research and analysis, modeling simulation and analysis, research and analysis of influencing factors, failure mechanism and improvement measurement. In addition, some problems, thoughts and suggestion on this issue are proposed. The purpose of this paper is to provide a new research idea for the solving of wear problem in electrical contact, and to provide a useful design reference for the engineers of ECS.
