Abstract
A copper-catalyzed asymmetric cascade cyclization via C(sp 2 )–O bond cleavage is disclosed, affording a range of chromeno[3,4- c ]pyrroles bearing a triaryl oxa-quaternary carbon stereocenter in high yields and enantioselectivities.
