Abstract
The authors present a method of supporting decision-making processes with the use of predictive analytics. The method is presented with an example of investment project portfolios of a mining company. In the research multiple predictive models have been tested to determine most effective algorithms and key project attributes allowing to predict possible budget deviations. The proposed approach can be applied in other organizations managing projects according to project methodologies with access to structured project data.
