Tunable continuous-wave dual-wavelength laser operation of Pr <sup>3+</sup> :LiYF <sub>4</sub> around 900 nm

Abstract
Abstract We present here the first tunable continuous-wave (CW) simultaneous dual-wavelength laser operation of a Pr 3+ :LiYF 4 crystal in the 900 nm spectral range using a single birefringent filter (BF) under excitation with a frequency doubled optically pumped semiconductor laser. By adjusting the rotation angle of the BF, the CW simultaneous dual-wavelength lasers operating at 869 and 915 nm, 894 and 915 nm, 915 and 923 nm, were obtained respectively.
