Abstract

Amid the growing urgency for effective water resource management and conservation, we introduce an IoT-based Smart Water Level Monitoring and Control System. Tailored for buildings with overhead water tanks, this innovative solution addresses water wastage challenges. It tackles the issues of tank overfilling and the manual control of pumps by leveraging IoT technology, providing real-time monitoring, and enabling mobile app control. The system ensures ongoing surveillance of water levels in the tanks and, when required, initiates a water pump to draw from a ground-level reservoir, filling the tanks to their optimal capacity. User-friendly remote control via a mobile app enhances convenience. This forward-looking solution not only encourages responsible water usage but also simplifies supply management, marking a significant stride in the realm of urban and residential water resource management.
