Palladium-catalyzed synthesis of [60]fullerene-fused furochromenones and further electrochemical functionalization

Abstract
The palladium-catalyzed heteroannulation of [60]fullerene with 4-hydroxycoumarins affords [60]fullerene-fused furochromenones, which can be further derivatized <italic>via</italic> an electrochemical method to synthesize 1,2,3,4-adducts.
