Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of innovation ecosystem instruments in increasing the adoption of innovation in sustainable entrepreneurship by proposing and developing a comprehensive assessment decision model. The strategy targets used in this research depend on five perspectives that are considered by decision-makers as significant for the adoption process. The decision model linked the five perspectives to ecosystem targets and various innovation ecosystem instruments which are economic, environmental, social, technical, and ethical perspectives. This research employed the Hierarchical Decision Model (HDM) as a methodology to construct a generalized ecosystem assessment model combined with the desirability curves method. The findings indicate that economic feasibility improvement and technical system development perspectives and their associated strategy targets as the most influential and important for fostering the adoption of innovation in sustainable entrepreneurship.
