Abstract
ointment, the CN-PtNC ointment with high bioavailability successfully treated periodontitis in rats, alleviating inflammation and reducing bone loss, and showed better performance than periocline. Therefore, this catalytic system is promising for an efficient, non-invasive, and antibiotic-free treatment of periodontitis.
