This JAMA Insights Clinical Update reviews lipid-lowering therapies prescribed to reduce cardiovascular risk, including statins and ezetimibe, as well as novel therapies such as PCSK-9 inhibitors, bempedoic acid, icosapent ethyl, and inclisiran.
