Abstract

Recently, there have been rare reports detailing the onset or recurrence of alopecia areata (AA) after vaccination against COVID-19.1-3 We report the onset of alopecia universalis (AU) in a 51-year-old woman occurring within one week of vaccination with ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine (AZD1222). A combination of typical findings and uncommon/atypical pathologic findings were identified.
