Abstract

Core Ideas Aboveground biomass was greatest when cover crops were planted at the V4 corn stage. Aboveground biomass of cover crops was modest (260–608 lb acre −1 yr −1 ). Interseeded cover crops did not negatively affect corn grain yield.
