Abstract

Underwater Wireless Acoustic Sensor Networks (UWASN) have evolved as an indispensable and significant method of facilitating pervasive computing for making suitable and applicable in diversified applications of deployment. In UWASN, energy efficiency has emerged as one of the major challenges in research. Generally, Communication starts from the source node to sink nodes between used relay nodes or intermediate nodes. Requirement the number of relay nodes depends upon underwater communication distance. This communication emphasizes the Optimization Algorithm between the transmitting node and receiving node, it contributes increases network lifetime. In this work, a Novel Chimp algorithm was developed and compared with an Atom algorithm. Simulation results obtained an increase in energy efficiency mean value of 16.08% in chimp algorithm compared to atom algorithm. The chimp algorithm provides better optimization communication between the nodes that offer less power consumption and extend battery lifetime. It has a higher decision-making capacity and effective transmission between the nodes.
