Magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect of Ln = Dy, Tb carborane-based metal–organic frameworks

Abstract

We report the synthesis, structure and magneto-thermal properties of two isostructural carborane-based MOFs, {[(Ln) 3 ( m CB-L) 4 (NO 3 )(DMF) n ]·Solv} with Ln = Dy or Tb, characterized by combining dc and ac magnetometry, XAS-XMCD and heat capacity measurements.
