Abstract
A one-dimensional chainlike Zr-substituted phosphotungstate {[NH 2 (CH 3 ) 2 ] 8 H 6 [(Zr 2 O 4 )P 2 W 16 O 60 ]·10H 2 O} n ( 1 ), was synthesized via a conventional aqueous solution method, employing the hexavacant Dawson-type precursor [H 2 P 2 W 12 O 48 ] 12– . Compound 1 features a rare divacant [P 2 W 16 O 60 ] 14– building unit, interconnected into a one-dimensional sinusoidal chain structure through the {Zr 2 O 4 } connectors. This compound demonstrates excellent proton conductivity, achieving a high conductivity of 5.30 × 10 –3 S·cm –1 at 348 K.
