Co‐MOF Nanosheet Arrays for Efficient Alkaline Oxygen Evolution Electrocatalysis

Abstract
Abstract It's highly desirable to devise and develop non‐precious metal catalysts for efficient water oxidation catalysis in alkaline solution. Herein, we report Co‐MOF nanosheet arrays grown on the three dimensional conductive nickel foam (Co‐MOF/NF) through a hydro‐thermal process for efficient alkaline oxygen evolution electrocatalysis. Such catalyst displays an excellent electrochemical performance by achieving an overpotential of 290 mV at 20 mA cm −2 in 1.0 M KOH. Besides, it possesses both a good electrochemical stability and a high turnover frequency of 0.14 s −1 at the overpotential of 400 mV.
