Abstract

Today, the need to remotely control home appliances, assign tasks to them, and obtain the necessary information from them is increasing. The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a network of interconnected objects, services, and devices that utilize the Internet to exchange data. This technology finds application across different industries and domains, facilitating seamless data sharing. However, there are risks and dangers such as network attacks, physical attacks, software attacks, cryptanalysis attacks, side channel attacks targeting IoT devices. Network attacks are a category of destructive actions that can cause widespread disruption without the need for physical proximity to the targeted network A firewall divides the network into two parts, the trusted network and the untrusted network In this work, we look at IoT security using web application firewalls.
