Abstract

In today’s market, the launch vehicle developers are forced to cut launch vehicle launch costs. The actual use of costing methods that take into account changes in the operation process. The cost of launching modern launch vehicles of China, Long March (LM2C, LM2D, LM3A, LM3C, LM4B, and LM4D), was carried out with a constant number of launches per year and changing according to the data of the past years. It has been established that when the number of launches per year changes by more than 3 units, it is necessary to use an economic model based on the method of the evaluating the effectiveness of the investment process and ideas about the productivity improvement curve (learning curve), bringing to a point in time within the period of use of the launch vehicle. Comparative cost modeling showed that LM2C, LM2D have minimal startup costs.
