Abstract

The Green Building Initiative (GBI) in ASEAN countries represents a comprehensive approach towards addressing environmental and sustainability challenges in the construction and building sector. As part of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), member countries recognize the importance of adopting green building practices to mitigate the negative impacts of urbanization and promote a more sustainable built environment. This technical report provides a research of the green building initiatives in ASEAN countries, including their objectives, implementation status, challenges, and future prospects.
