Abstract
A multifunctional ESIPT-based rhodamine-derived probe (BHS) was synthesized and developed as a colorimetric and fluorometric sensor for the selective detection of copper (Cu 2+ ) and hypochlorite (OCl − ) in aqueous solutions.
