This article provides a synopsis of Dr. Chalas' Inaugural Address that was to be presented at the 2020 Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. After the cancelation of the meeting, this address was recorded and presented online during ACOG's Annual Business Meeting (April 25, 2020; recording available online at www.acog.org).
