Critical Phenomena in the Darrieus Wind Turbine Model
Alena Kirsanova
Abstract
The article discusses a mathematical model of a small wind turbine with a vertical axis, the so-called Darrieus wind turbine. It examines the existence, stability, and optimization of steady-state regimes. The article shows that, there is a critical value of the parameter characterizing external resistance.
