Abstract

An improved fuzzy event-triggered underactuated control strategy for networked coupled partial differential equation-ordinary differential equation (PDE-ODE) systems subject to singular perturbations is established. First, the networked coupled PDE-ODE systems are combined into an integrated system by representing the ODE and PDE states as a new state variable. Subsequently, a singular perturbed matrix is introduced to describe the multiple time-scale phenomenon of the system. In addition, an improved fuzzy controller is proposed to ensure the stability of the closed-loop coupled PDE-ODE systems based on boundary measurements. The novelties of the designed control strategy pertain to the following aspects: 1) The dynamic event-triggered mechanism is optimized; 2) an underactuated controller is proposed; and 3) the controller is constructed in a unified form. Finally, a hypersonic rocket vehicle's simulation is performed to demonstrate the method's effectiveness.
