Abstract

Two triarylimidazole organic dyes with an auxiliary donor (D–D–π–A) and an auxiliary accepter (D–A–π–A) were reported. The π-spacer has significant role on physico-chemical and photovoltaic performance of the dyes with [Cu(dmp) 2 ] 1+/2+ redox couples.
