A CO<sub>2</sub>-tolerant SrCo<sub>0.8</sub>Fe<sub>0.15</sub>Zr<sub>0.05</sub>O<sub>3−δ</sub> cathode for proton-conducting solid oxide fuel cells

Abstract
5 mol% zirconium was introduced into SrCo<sub>0.8</sub>Fe<sub>0.2</sub>O<sub>3−δ</sub> (SCF) to improve its structural stability and CO<sub>2</sub> tolerance. Proton-conducting solid oxide fuel cells (H<sup>+</sup>-SOFCs) with SCFZ material as a cathode showed a high output and durability.
