Abstract

Two outstanding UV birefringent materials SbTeO 3 Cl and SbTeO 3 Br with a honeycomb-like two-dimensional (2D) layer structure, have been successfully designed, demonstrating significant birefringence (0.281@546 nm and 0.227@546 nm, respectively).
