Abstract

A nanoporous Pd 50 Ir 50 alloy is developed for water splitting bifunctional electrocatalysis by metallurgical alloy design and electrochemical dealloying method, outperforming the state-of-the-art catalysts, commercial Pt/C and Ir/C under 0.5 M H 2 SO 4 .
