Abstract
We constructed a necklace-like structure consisting of hollow CoFe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub> octahedral nanoparticles encapsulated in N-doped carbon nanofibers (CoFe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub>@CNFs), which deliver an excellent electrochemical performance as free-standing anodes for LIBs.
