Polymer derived SiOC and SiCN ceramics for electrochemical energy storage: A perspective
Shakir Bin Mujib, Gurpreet Singh
Abstract
Abstract Polymer‐derived ceramic (PDC) materials with tunable electrochemical properties are at the core of emerging energy storage systems. Applications encompass the development of PDCs as electrodes in both batteries and supercapacitors. This perspective highlights new opportunities for electrode material designs, the importance of PDC material design and integration, and the complexities of realistic PDC applications.
