Deuterium spectroscopy for enhanced bounds on physics beyond the standard model

Abstract
The authors discuss the use of precise spectroscopic data on hydrogenic atoms in order to obtain new, more stringent bounds on new physics beyond the Standard Model. Assuming a certain ``reasonable'' flavor dependence the authors obtain constraints that are orders of magnitude more stringent than constraints from hydrogen alone.
