Abstract

Abstract The nano-particles in Darcy-Forchheimer porous space are potentially useful in heating and cooling processes, power generation process, microprocessor, glass fiber, extrusion process, damage of crops due to freezing and many others. Due to such potential implications in industry and technology, the Blasius and Rayleigh-Stokes flow of aluminum alloys (AA7072-AA7075) over a semi-infinite heated plate in Darcy-Forchheimer porous space under the influence of nonlinear radiation with Koo and Kleinstreuer model is reported in this investigation. The similarity conversion is performed to reform the governing <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" overflow="scroll"> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">PDE</mml:mi> <mml:mo accent="false">′</mml:mo> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">s</mml:mi> </mml:math> into buckle-nonlinear <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" overflow="scroll"> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">ODE</mml:mi> <mml:mo accent="false">′</mml:mo> <mml:mi>s</mml:mi> <mml:mspace width=".25em"/> </mml:math> of more advanced order. The numerical explanation is accessed for the abridged governing equations with the assistance of RKF-45 technique. Then, the numerical forecast identifies the velocity and temperature distribution thoroughly for the effects of different budding parameters related to present analysis by means of graphs. The nature of Nusselt number and friction factors is visualized through numerical data against the distinct values of influential constraints. The friction factors values are decaying against the incrementing Forchheimer parameter values. The Nusselt number is reduced for higher radiation and nanoparticles volume fraction constraints values.
