Abstract
The solubility of P 2 O 5 –SiO 2 –Na 2 O–CaO glasses was suppressed by the coexistence of CaO and Na 2 O, attributed to the delocalization of the electron distribution of P in Q P 3 units coordinated to the six-fold-coordinated Si.
